As I'm sure many do. There are a LOT of kitties running around, and no one owns them. No one takes care of them (well, I'm sure they get fed somewhere, or they wouldn't still be running around) and certainly no one spays or neuters them. So every summer, more litters of kittens are born that no one takes care of, feeds, or any of the other things you are supposed to do as a pet owner. <br /><br />So, this year we decided to adopt three of them. A very young mama has been living under a deck with her two kittens. We decided that we could afford to feed, spay, neuter and take care of these three. While it's not much, it's at least three kittens who won't be having a few more litters this year.<br /><br />We named them Jezabel, Gus and Plinko. We have no idea if they are male or female (well, except for the mama cat!) so, if Gus is a female...SORRY GUS! They are not tame (YET) but we're working on it. The seminar is given by <a href="http://www.usedfilm.com"> Zack Arias </a>, an AMAZING photographer from Atlanta, Georgia. Zack is a great teacher, and just fun to be around and learn from.<br /><br />I had a great time, met some great people, and left with a new perspective and understanding about lighting. I would highly recommend the workshop to any photographer! And now, I must take a nap. 9:30 am until 3 am with a 3 hour drive home? They are students from not only Marysville High School but other schools in the Central Ohio area. They have the opportunity to learn about the United Nations and also to do mock meetings, debates presentations and have many other awesome learning opportunities. These kids and advisors are currently preparing to leave for New York to sit on the actual UN floor and hold a mock UN session. They will also have a chance to meet some of the UN delegates.
